Who is Edgar Evans jr

Edgar Evans Jr. is a golf professional and entrepreneur originally from Augusta, Georgia. A former Southern University golf team member, Edgar brings over 8 years of experience in the golf profession.

Previously Edgar was the Director of Golf Instruction at the prestigious Atlanta Country Club. While there he released a golf instructional book entitled, “Flawless”, conducted corporate clinics, organized the women’s golf association, ran junior camps, and conducted individual golf instruction.

As an entrepreneur, Edgar is the showrunner and host of the golf television program, “Saturday Foursome” as well as the owner of the faith-based shoe company, “Edgar Golf Shoes.” As host of Saturday Foursome Edgar plays golf with 3 celebrities/notable figures. While playing he navigates the conversations as the group shares stories and discusses life. The program originally aired on local Peachtree TV and now airs on 4 regional sports networks in 30 states across the country. Edgar Golf Shoes is currently in its 4th year. The brand’s mission is to inspire the world to go after their dreams no matter their circumstances. The “Edgar 1” golf shoe has been named to Golf Digest's “Best Shoes For Men List” in 2022 and 2023.
